A 1.2-billion-parameter on-device foundation model, the largest of three dense LFM2 checkpoints Liquid released. Its own blog states LFM2 is built on a hybrid architecture of "16 blocks: 10 double-gated short-range convolution blocks and 6 blocks of grouped query attention", so despite the Liquid branding it is a hybrid attention model rather than a pure non-transformer, and it is recorded as language-reasoning without any non-transformer claim.
